Very nice, I have that same lens.
I included the 55-250 in my "travel" kit - SL1, 10-18, 50 1.8 - after lugging around L glass and a 5DII. Sure, there's a difference, but not enough to care about for the kind of shots I take on vacation. No attempt at prizes, just documenting family events.
Nice shots! I bought same lens last year - budget friendly and good glass, lets me reach a little farther without breaking the bank.

i have this lens too. I use it a lot for my granddaughter's performances at her high school stage. It does very well.
