Will we soon be slicing our bagels with a saw?

Not sure why they don't come for our cars? They cause more deaths than any weapons out there.

Oops. Maybe i said that too loud. Some stupid politician will now propose a bill for same.

Some years ago, there was a rash of stabbings in Boston. One of our stellar Dim legislators (aren't they all in MA?) proposed licensing stores for selling knives. Some registration when one buys a knife, too. How stupid can one get? They also wanted to require helmets for sledding because some adult crashed into a tree and got a concussion. I HATE the nanny state. Beware of MA politicians. Most came out of the same mold. Warren, Patrick of the same ilk.

Cars hell!! Why not get rid of the Drs who kill by wrong diagnosis. It was up to 250,000 per year possibly 400,000 depending on who reports it. The third leading case death, behind heart disease and cancer.

Oh, you betcha!
Don't do it alone ... many times you're facing the herd, and an upstart is bringing up your rear ...

Sorry to disagree, or not, but not all guns, by definition, are assault weapons. None of my rifles are classified as assault rifles. Could I assault someone with one of them? Certainly. But that still doesn't make them assault rifles. By the way, two of my rifles were originally military issue, one from WWI and one from WWII. Still doesn't make them, by definition, assault rifles.

Actually, our dear elected politicians redefine the term "assault weapon", as used in our laws and regs, on almost a daily basis, so it is a constantly evolving term. The ultimate goal of most "Gun Control" groups is an outright ban on civilian ownership of "Assault Weapons" and then to keep massaging the definition until it encompasses all firearms and ammunition.

Proves they are idiots and should be nowhere near a firearm until they learn about them.

Of course as they learn, they will realize people do all the killing. Guns don’t.

(But they'll never learn, they are locked in to their perception.)

If I attack and hit someone in the head I have committed an "Assault".
If I used a brick to hit them in the head the brick was my "Weapon".
Therefore the brick was an "Assault Weapon".

Assault Bricks must be regulated and controlled with those who use bricks (Masons) having a stringent background check and licensed. Only those with a license and approved job order from the ATF/B (Bricks) will be allowed to buy bricks. The required secure storage (with armed guards) and use of all bricks must be videoed with an inventory to show all bricks were used and firmly cemented into a structure. Dealers will be licensed and very strict inventory control rules followed - daily inventories and documentation to be submitted to ATF/B in three hard copies and electronically. Any damaged bricks removed from inventory by dealers and Masons must be ground into dust and the grinding videoed in front of an ATF/B Agent with video submitted to the ATF/B for filing. The dust must be spread over a large area via aircraft to ensure the brick is never reassembled.

Now about those War Clubs commonly termed "Baseball Bats"...

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

-John Adams

Hence the first amendment. I’ll bet every evil leftie Dem’s gonna go berserk.

Already in some areas anyone with a baseball bat, but no glove or ball will be stopped and questioned. Won't be long before the street gangs all look like farm team players on parade.

Then we will have controls on people dressing like baseball players.
Decades ago the LA area gang bangers started wearing Raiders football jerseys - black and silver, pirates (tough macho guys) etc. - so the LA School District outlawed black and silver and Raiders gear on campus because it allowed the gang members to blend in. Kids whose only problem was they were football/Raiders fanatics got in trouble for dress code violations.
I had a lot of talks with students about why I was telling them to put on a jacket or giving them a pass to the gym to get their school t-shirt to wear over or instead of their Raider's shirt, hat etc. Only the stubborn repeat offenders got sent to the dean, the rest I gave a chance to avoid going to the office. And our dean always tried to talk them into changing without any documented punishment - he was a football nut himself and a really nice guy with students who put on even a minimum bit f cooperation.
We had one poor kid whose father, brothers etc were all rabid Raiders fans. The first day of school he was in full regalia - all of his new school cloths were Raiders theme items. The dean and the boy's counselor raided the "lost and found" for over size shirts and jackets the kid could cover up with and the campus police officer passed the word to the local area patrol teams about the boy. I seem to remember the area patrol Sgt got the boy into a Police Explorer type group and a windbreaker he could cover up with.
