When I answered in the affirmative he said that I should thank the thief and get the D850. I suppose in one way I have a reason to do that but I am still angry that someone had the nerve.
Camera and lens were covered by home insurance, but I still had to fork out $1,400 to cover a deductible plus depreciation. Given the upgrade I am OK with that since I had my eye on the D850 for some time and has now joined my D500.
