I have set my schedule so there is no rush. I like the 50 mph speed limit, it forces me to slow down and appreciate the beauty and solitude. And the truck get's 23+ MPG at that speed.
In mid October we drove to the end of the Trace in Natchez. Started outside of Vicksburg. Beautiful section reminded us of Colonial Parkway in Yorktown. Saw 5 wild turkeys and 4 deer. Rainy day, we just enjoyed drive with top up. A few places to stop that did not work for me for pics. Go pro would have been better. Almost no auto traffic, lots of bikes.
