Can't depend on Facebook to screen the ads that make them money. Facebook won't pull political ads that have downright lies in them.

A good rule of thumb, NEVER buy from a seller with "0" ratings.
Especially if the offer is too good to be true!

This makes me wonder about thieves!

Who's to say a thief gets a temporary secure website, copies valid vendor's items, modified the low price, then redirects the payments, then quickly collects all the income?

They would be gone before anyone realised it was a scam.

Just thinking.

I'm hoping Amazon or some other retailer will repeat the $94 per item "sale" they had last summer. Bummed that I missed that one! We should keep a watchful eye-

No, I buy from them all the time. Just bought the Brooklyn Bridge from them in a pre Black Friday sale.

Come on. If something is too good to be true it is usually too good to be true.

This is a scam to gather information. I am surprised that FB hasn't done something on it. The same ad was on FB twice yesterday.

FB won't bite the hand that feeds them.

Every ad I see in my FB feed is some for some cheap junk from China. A while back I made the mistake of ordering a t-shirt that looked pretty good. In reality, it was paper-thin material that felt like sandpaper. While not expensive, it was not priced like the dollar store quality it actually was. Getting a refund under their "money back guarantee" policy was a major exercise that finally ended up shipping it back at my expense and disputing the charge with my CC company (I won the dispute).

Every ad I see on FB, for a variety of products, is a similar Chinese company. I will never waste my time and money again. Most legitimate companies have learned that FB advertising is a very flawed model that doesn't deliver a good return on investment.

FB is making a fortune off these ads, so they will keep coming until the Chinese manufacturers learn that the juice isn't worth the squeeze. With their cost of goods being so low, that might take a while.

Some of them are kinda sorta legit- but not really.
Open a new window ad google the product and the people.
Just like the last 5 years, at this time, there are 5mp cameras that "interpolate" to 15, 16, 18 etc mp.
A relative bought one. He was proud that his "7100" was way cheaper than mine. I guess at 5mp it would print up to 5x7 OK. If you ever used the digital zoom- like on your phone- that's interpolation.
There must be a container or two of surplus 5mp sensors, because they keep coming out.
