I cant get any images to appear in the folder palette. I drag a file up to my favourites, when I click on it, nothing happens, says there is no images there. I tried again with a deferent file, same thing.
What am I doing wrong or not doing.
I have had NX2 for a couple years now just never got into it this much. More I learn the more I like it!!
Anybody got any suggestions.

open the folder where it is at. remember the raw files will be in Nikon transfer with a copy in image backup. when i raw process in view nx2 which i like better then adobe camera raw, and process a file to jpeg and save as to the month year jpeg folder i create, for example i shot raw 2 days ago, I transfered using Nikon transfer, viewed and processed in nx2 saved to sept2012 jpeg. If I want to reopen a specific photo I will go to sept jpeg (if opening in jpeg) or if I want to reopen in raw ill go to the Nikon transfer folder, open it up scroll down until i get to sept 15 2012 click on that folder. all the photos in that folder will open up in the bottom of the screen in filmstrip mode. I just click on photo i want, it opens up i reedit however then process the raw file all over again. I know it is a cliché but with raw it really is like a digital negative. Hope this helps, I am afraid I was as clear as mud. Im much better at doing then explaining.

Swede - I also have Transfer, never use it - use Windows Explorer. Bring images into my computer, or read from the card with ViewNX - when I have the image in the thumbnail screen I click to load it; from View just click on Capture NX shown in a contril bar and View transfers it.
With either View or Capture, I go to Open and my directories are listed on the left; I maneuver to the directory and folder containing the image I want and click on it.
Have no idea what's happening with you. When you say "...drag to favorites..." I presume you are moving/copying the image intending to move to or copy to your "favorites foldet". Is that the folder you are seeking to open with View or Capture?
