New Market Pond is a small pond in Piscataway, NJ. Totally surrounded by large trees on both sides, it offers nice views and is a local favorite. The image is SOOC, and I think it has "good bones", but needs some loving attention.
Feel free to download this image to your computer and edit it anyway that you want. Composites, adjustments, black and white conversions, textures, effects, whatever you think looks good. Then, when you have finished your edit, pot it in this thread. You can post your thread until 9 pm on Thursday. After that time, no edits will be accepted and we will begin voting. I tried a boat then a swan but the truth is all that would ruin an outstanding picture that Bill let us work on. I did think the sky could be a bit better since some clouds are reflected in the water. I couldn't bring them back so I added a different sky. Had some fun with the colors.
If I had taken this picture it would be no less than a 28 inch wall hanger. Beautiful job Bill.👏

Nice scene and nice job photographing it... Many years ago I used to work in Piscataway at the Colgate Palmolive research center on River Road but for the life of me I can't remember ever seeing market pond so thanks for the opportunity
