Some people would say I am absolutely nuts to by this lens, but, what the heck, you only live once. Only been out a couple of times with it, but got lucky with this Loggerhead Shrike launching after some prey. Flying toward me allowed me to keep it in the frame!

Sony A9, 600mm Gmaster + 2x (1200mm), 1/4000, F/8, ISO 1250.

Excellent! A steely glance from a fierce little bird. I love that wing position. Nice work Nalu.

Excellent shot there. The wings of the bird are quite detailed by that lens. When you say a9 and G-master lens. You know you have excellent quality.

Nalu, that is one serious piece of glass. It is so high, I have not booked it into my memory or wish list! It looks like it will take fantastic shots and this is one of them. I do have one comment though, and that is there seems to be a lot of noise in the shot on download. Only 1250 ISO. I shoot the a7III and don't get that much noise at 12,000, so I wonder how much you cropped it. Again, great shot.
