I think this is the worst type of light for photography in the woods.

Nice composition.
But a little too much harsh contrast going on for me. For this image, I would chosen a more dreamy, softer look. Your rendition seems rather nightmarish and grotesque; I almost expect to discover a half-buried corpse in it. But perhaps that was the very look you were aiming for?

rook2c4, "nightmarish" is not what I wanted exactly; I was hoping for "old and mysterious" rather than a soft look. Now you've gone and made me think so more!
