Didn’t notice this until I cropped the photo. I think he’s blind in that eye. Am I wrong?
I was looking at that white round thing in the upper left corner of the eye.
Looks like a reflection to me.

First of all, a very nice picture. It looks like a reflection in the eye to me, but look at his beak! Looks like it is about done for! I've seen a lot of those Jays, but never saw one with a beak like that!
Maybe the beak and the eye are signs of old age!
