Made my own greeting card - now, where to sign it?

I just printed several blank greeting cards, with photos I've taken on the front. I used Aperture and 7x10inch paper from Red River and I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out. My husband is really impressed (always a good thing, when he can see the results of those many dollars I've spent on camera, lenses & "stuff").

My question is: if/where I should sign them. I'd like people to know these are my photos. And if I do sign them, do I just write my name, or should I be using the "©" and name/date style?

thanks

I can only tell you what I've done:
I've used folding cards, put the picture on the front "cover",
printed the copyright symbol with my name in small letters on the back "cover", centred and near the botton, printed a general greeting inside leaving room for a handwritten personal message with my husband's and my names.

I sign mine on the front under the image in pencil.

Download Faststone Resize (Free). In the advanced part you can add your name. Chose a script or perhaps take a photo of your actual signature and add.

I have seen all signatures and copyright on the back cover of the card. Also your website and any other contact info. Very good for future sales.
I also like to put a signature in the art itself. I choose a typeface, I use a script looking one. I choose a color with the eyedropper tool in PS, near where I want to sign, usually on he bottom left or right. Once I have that color, I make it slightly lighter or darker so it shows but is unobtrusive.

On the back of the card at the bottom I write in a nice font, photography by - my name - and underneath that my email address. I also pick up the main color of the image and print in that. Also a fairly small font.

Here's an example of what I do. The "copyright" is not legally necessary when you have your name on it, and lesser is better.

Weddingguy ... Hay Bob, it would be more helpful to these ladies if you said what program you were using. d/p

I used Topaz Remask3 to cut out the image, then pasted it to a background that I made myself in Photoshop CS4. Grabbed a color with the eyedropper from the "wooden shoe" and used that for the font color.

Hope that helps

Thanks for the example, that was exactly what I was looking for.
