Sunset on Tarkiln Bayou State Park

My youngest (8) daughter and I set off to explore a state park very close to our house. We pass this location everyday and never gave it a second thought to visit, mostly due to the unbearable heat in the summer. I was not expecting to find what I did in the picture below.

Tarkiln Bayou State Park in Pensacola, Florida is a 4,200 acre preserve founded to protect an endangered species of plant called the pitcher plant. Although the plants are abundant and beautiful, I was there for one thing, water and landscape. Due to the limited time this evening, we took the short trail that leads to the bayou, which is very peaceful and quiet compared to my typical locations along the Gulf of Mexico.

Wow, thank you all for the overwhelming response. It really caught me off guard when I walked out and saw it and knew on a calm day with just enough clouds, this place can produce some nice shots.
