Beautiful. I would like to see the roadway be a little more prominent in the image, but it is still lovely. Is this the desert in California?

You can call it "Long Lonely Road" but the road does not appear to be the subject of the photo. The mountains are overwhelming and the road is off to the side and barely visible. Perhaps if you had taken the photo while standing on the road and placed the camera much lower to the ground so the road started off very wide (at the camera) and got narrower as it went into the distance, then the viewer's eye would have started at the road itself and you would have had a photo to match the title.

I like it. If the road were more prominent it wouldn't look as "lonely". Is this route 50 in Nevada?

Along Route 73 in Utah, near the Pony Express Trail.

Tantalizing! Makes one wonder where the road goes, as it seems to disappear over a knoll in the road. Nice shot!
