I have used them a couple of times. One buy. One sell. Very satisfied. Now on my list — along with KEH, B&H, and Adorama — as an honest ‘go to’ place on used gear.

Has anyone used this site for used gear and are they trustworthy?
I just sprung a few dollars for an older lens.
Figure if they are not reliable I'm only out a little bit as opposed to buying a body from them.
They do have a six month warranty on used gear at least.
Dealt with them many times and they are first class with good customer service.
I've bought a couple of cameras and a lens from mpb.com and found them totally satisfactory. Their ratings of used equipment are rather conservative.
I have sold lenses to them. My experiences have been excellent. They were extremely professional. I am meticulous with my handling and maintenance of my lenses. The pricing was fair and upon receipt, the lenses were graded by them appropriately. I went back and saw one lens listed without embellishment at a competitive price for a commercial resale retailer (versus an eBay or private sale which tend to be less expensive venues, but involve some additional risks and hassles).
I have just completed 3 transactions with them and I give them a top rating. Honest, reliable and excellent service.

Just bought a used AF Micro Nikkor 105mm f2.8/D (the non-VR version, which I prefer) for a bargain price. The lens is in significantly better shape than their rating would suggest, the item arrived the day before it was scheduled to get to me, and their customer service is top notch.
I highly recommend MPB as a source for used items.
Dealt with them a few times in the UK. No problems and good service.
Buy with confidence, MPB is a reputable dealer. I have bought from them to my entire satisfaction and customer's service is top notch.
Yes, they offer a 6 months warranty on used gear which is considerably more than what manufacturers warranty on a refurb camera.

They, and KEH.com, are excellent used equipment dealers. They feature solid, conservative ratings of used gear condition, and great six month (180 day) warranties. Combine those attributes with speedy service and easy returns...
You'll most probably be pleasantly surprised.
I look at used gear first. Let some other person take the depreciation hit! You would be surprised at how many people buy something just to try it, then trade it for something different.
B&H, Adorama, Cameta Camera, and Roberts are other good sources for used gear, although their ratings differ and they may not have as lengthy warranties.
Ever hear of the Bathtub Curve? It's a 'U' shaped curve that plots failure rates over time. It basically confirms that when products fail, they are most likely to fail immediately or very soon after purchase, OR at the end of their useful life spans.
Typical used gear is past the initial slope of the 'U', and has been used enough to get past the likelihood of early failure. So, buying used, you get most of the reliable life out of the product for much less money. And if there's a warranty on it, you will most often be happy to save money.
Outstanding site. I’ve bought all of my equipment from them. They ship fedex and everything is very well packaged. There’s a 6 month warranty on bodies and lenses. There’s also a seven day return policy on everything. Best prices I’ve found. Bodies also state shutter count. Anything rated good or higher looks brand new.
Only selling experience with them. Offered best bid for my Sigma 150-500mm lens. Paid quickly. Good experience.
I have found them very fair and quick with a decision

I have used them to buy and sell no problems with them at all, does what it says on the tin
Well the lens arrived today and after testing it out a bit appears to be a good deal.
