My first impression was: what an awful looking room.
Second: Someone left the window open- if the room had windows.

~ VERY interesting take on this image! I find it interesting as to how people see and "react" to it. Thank you for the input!!

I saw an abstract with a touch of grunge.

Grunge was one of the filters in Snapseed that I used here! The original image was kinda' useless, in my opinion a weak image. So, I played with it until I achieved a look that became an abstract (at least to my eyes!).
~ Thank you for your observations!!

I'm not an artist. However, I see a corporate board meeting. I see the bird on the armrest as the Chief Executive Officer. Resting on the chair is the Chief Operations Officer and Vice President. They are discussing the creation of a new wing of their building ready to be furnished.

So how did I do?

Yeah, now I see it, thanx

I don't see it as an abstract, but as a straight photograph given a texture. Could make the point without the texture. Discarded chair given to the birds.

I see a rolling bird potty chair.
Sorry, but that's what I see.

This one made me stop and look again, download and look some more. I find it fascinating. It has a story to tell. Why is this chair, still in good condition, cast aside? It's inside, but the room is open somehow to the outside. This is not the birds first visit, so it has been sitting there for some time.

From a photographic point of view, it is well balanced between the light and dark areas, and the white dots of bird poop make it more visually interesting. If I had this photograph, I would use it for a creative writing project and have everyone write a story that the photograph would illustrate. Alas, I don't have the photograph and I don't teach creative writing. But if I did, I would.

.... This chair is indeed outside. The building is next door to where I work - an alcove near a door that someone put a chair out in for a smoke break at times. Above the chair is a shelf that the parent birds built a nest on. Hence the bird poop on the chair. The birds you see there are three of the five baby birds that are learning to fly and taking a break on the chair! This image was a random image I took on my phone camera. The image was rather poor, so I played with it in "Snapseed " until I had turn it into a semi-abstract image.
🐹Thank you very much for taking the time for an insightful post response!! ..... Yeah!

I am not surprised that it is outside. The lighting looked like outside light, but the texture you used fooled me into thinking there was a rug under it. There still could be, in an alcove.

I knew it had a story!

Thank you again, Jeannesw! I knew there were at least a FEW artists (not just a photographer - and that is OK. Most people on this site are that) around this forum!
