I have been a member of Adobe CC for years.
Today I couldn't open an image into PS from Bridge. Did all of the updates and nothing.
I called Adobe and the tech. spent about an hour resetting all of my software. Everything is now perfect. So a big thanks to their customer service. Well worth the $10.00 per month

Any idea what the problem was? What changed between today and the last time you used the software successfully?

after working in camera raw i couldn't open the image in PS.
the teck. update and deleted some of the old PS and changed a lot of the perferences. took almost an hour

So, I have been using LR Classic CC for a while now with no real problems. Installed all the updates. I went to import about 500 images and LR hung while creating the DNGs. They all downloaded the 2nd time, so I thought, and began editing. Several crashes doing random things like exporting, hitting the F key for full screen, ... Some of my images show the dreaded ! point saying they can't be read. I am pretty sure it's the software, but ran a full set of diags on my rig including memtest, processor tests, and disk checks, which took several hours with no errors found. Right now, I'm very frustrated.

I have had a few issues with ps 2020. One of my filters did not move over and I can't quite figure out how to put it in the new ps.

I also had an issue when trying to crop. I am not sure if they changed it but the only way I can transform an image in a composite is to to to the Edit>free transform. It is not working with the tool for cropping. The handles go to the entire image, not the composite, even though the composite layer is active.

Any thoughts?

I haven't done the upgrade. My reasoning is, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
I have PS5, PS6, PSCC, and PS Classic. I find myself using PS5 and PS6 more than CC or Classic.

Did updates, updated LR and then I seen new LR symbol, updated, but it was mobile. Wound up losing PS and LR from my photo subscription. Two days, 4 hours on hold with Adobe support. Got Indian help desk & couldn't understand the dialect. Agent put me on hold for a minute (already waited 45 min) and 45 min later I decided hes not coming back. I've been ghosted. 2nd day an agent says I can reload programs from creative cloud but had to transfer after waiting an hour for him. An hour later I am still waiting but was able to set computer to restore point and download PS & LR but am unable to redo updates as of today.
Adobe help desk sucks.

PS has done so much improvements since all the ones you list. The new features, are great.
I feel the new features are worth the upgrades and the $10 monthly charge. Before they started the monthly charge, I would upgrade every other year, costing about $200.

Just sayin..
