When I renewed my passport, I went to the local Post Office to get it done. They even offered a reshoot if I didn’t like the results. About five minutes and five dollars And paperwork filled out Everything was mailed out. No hassle. For me not worth doing it myself.

I have used this site
https://www.epassportphoto.com/
Once you upload the photo you can resize it and it creates a 4x6 print with 4 photos of the correct size. I print this out at CVS or walmart - less than 1$ for 4 photos. They have settings for number of countries and different puroposes
the only challenge I have faced is getting the background the right color

I use a photo booth as seen in most supermarkets, it's cheap, quick and legal.

You guys are way ahead of us in the UK!

I’ve never seen a photo booth in a supermarket here in the U.S.

As with nearly all government agencies, the requirements are very strict and restrictive. When I first applied for a passport 10 years ago they had no restriction of eyeglasses. For my renewal this year, they require a photo without glasses, they will reject the application if you are wearing them. Read the instructions carefully to save yoursef headaches later.

When I last renewed my passport th PO took the photo. Cost me less than anyone else in town.

And, jehaz, I'm jealous. The only thing photographic in our costco is bottom end two lens kits and 8.5x11 paper.

Go to your local UPS store, pay them 10 bucks and voila there they are. Probably would save tons of time too.

I looked at the requirements for the photo and decided it was less bother to let Wal Mart do it for about 10 bucks.

Many Post Offices have a passport photo camera, and the forms an will take the photo, attach it to the forms and mail it in. For a small price, of course. We had ours done at the small PO in Dunnellon, fl.

Why bother? Just go to a CVS or Walgreens. Mission accomplished.

If you want the photos for yourself, just go to Costco, Sam's, and many other places for about $10, or the PO for $15. If you want to have a business, can you really compete against these prices?

I was just at Costco, customer service (where they take photos for their membership cards) and they had a sign there stating: "passport photos $5.00. Can't go wrong.
