Then the Nikon F2 and original Canon F-1 must be disqualified.

Why? Every setting had to be set by the user.

For some if the camera has a built in meter it's not fully manual. I do not agree with that though.

You are right. I had 1950s German cameras with built in meter and the meter did not work, So I had to use the Sunny Rules 16. If that is not full manual, I don't known what is. What about cameras that have mercury batteries only for light meter?

I still have the following:
Nikon F
Alpa Model 6
Nikormat FTN
Rollei TLR

I still have 120 film in the freezer and plan to do some limited photography in Spring.

I have a number of cameras that require mercury battery for the meter to work. I can use them with substitute battery but I don't bother. I simply use them without the meter.

I have a Russian copy of a Leica, a Zorki 6 that I use on occasion. Not too much now, as I am more into pixels than film.

I also have a Yashica Electro that I don't really use any more. Known as the poor man's Leica.

Just picked up an Ikonta 521/16 with a Novar 75mm f/3.5 and Prontor-S shutter. It’s a 120 folder and takes 6x6. It is as manual as manual gets: fully mechanical — you set the f stop and the shutter speed and focusing is by scale. Film is wound by hand and you have to watch the number in the little red window on the back.

Just curious. Who uses a totally manual film camera?

I have 3 favorites but I don’t shoot on them as much as I would like to!

Minolta X500
Leica M6
Canon AE1

I sometimes use my first camera that my dad gave me 65 years ago. An Argus C2. The shutter only goes to 1/300 sec, so I only shoot 100 speed film in it. It actually does okay and I feel like a kid again.

Yeah that's what they call but it's far from it. The Yashica Electro isn't a manual camera. It can only be used in aperture priority mode. No manual.

The A1 is film and does manual.
PS, Nikon F2 and original Canon F-1 are also automatic cameras but use film.

The F-1 is not automatic. It uses a match needle with it's on board meter. No auto settings.
