The whole time change thing is absurd. It no longer bas the reason for which it was started anyway. I all ways thought that DST was trying to make an 11 foot rope by taking a 10 foot rope and cutting 1 foot off 1 end and attaching it to the other end.. We should choose 1 and stay with it.

Don't forget!
Many cell phones won't auto reset. You have to turn them off ...
then turn them back on again.

My household has:
2 iPhones and 4 computers -- no action required
2 thermostats -- pretty simple time change
2 cars -- Sometimes I remember how to do it without reading the manual but sometimes my wife has to bug me to get her car done
Oven/microwave -- pretty simple
That's all I remember to reset.

What is your number?

About 45 watches, 3 more are atomic and so is the kitchen clock. Then there is the microwave and range.

Six battery powered clocks, plus the stove & microwave, and our 2 vehicles. I still rely on a electric alarm clock with battery back-up, it is accurate and dependable and it has BIG NUMBERS I can read without glasses.

About 4 but one caused a lot of grief . One of them is a small battery powered thing that gets its time from a satellite. It was showing an incorrect time by one hour. Kept taking the batteries out then replacing them and getting the clock to reset , no joy.

We are in the UK. The clock was purchased in the UK from a German supermarket chain, Aldi. Its Was set up to set itself to German (European ) time not UK GMT.

You win some, you lose some.

Let's see. microwave, kitchen clock, coffee pot, stove, bathroom clock, two alarm clocks, my watch, her watch, my truck, her car, and the workshop clock. 11 total. I also wish Indiana would pick one or the other and stay there.

I thought I got all 17 counting my thermostats, remote phones, appliances and watches. Then I got in my car... Three more between mine, my wife's and my son's.

Only four, the Bose radio, the stove, the microwave and my Seico analog watch. My atomic clock, my laptop, and IPhone take care of that by themselves.

Next time, you might consider not changing them. They'll be correct 6 months of the year. When you look at them, just remember to subtract 1 hour. I went to Europe for two weeks and never changed my watch. I still knew the correct time.

I never use the program (or time) on our thermostat. I raise or lower temp for comfort. At night, in the warmer months, the AC is set to 72 and probably runs most of the night. In cooler weather, we open the slider in the bedroom for fresh, cool air - no heat at night.
To Each His Own? (great song, too).
