Please download for correct color, detail and how I screwed up. Forget the contrast/sharpening white line. The DOF left the tripod OOF.
Boo Hoo.
I love the shot as is .., it speaks volumes .., location is everything .., a good photographer certainly doesnโt hurt ...,
Love it!!!! Nothing to be disappointed about here!!!
What a great image greymule - love this shot!
I downloaded your beautiful photo. The I cropped it into a square, making the right border just touch the tripod leg. Looks like it was shot with a Rollei! Beautiful!
It makes it "unique"...don't worry about it. the sunset is gorgeous.
Great shot๐ค๐ค๐๐

It was sunrise. I arose at 4:30AM and drove into Arches from Moab. My goal was to shoot Turret Arch thru the other arch at sunrise. Climbed up the rocks in the dark and while setting up waiting for the sun to hit the arches, I saw this sunrise. Shot hand held, braced against the rocks.
Well after all, the tripod wasn't (I presume) the subject of your image. The rest of the image is spectacular.
Beautiful shot, Greymule.
Don't cry. It's excellent. You could have said you left the tripod in for a reason. The contrast/sharpening line isn't so strong to apologize. I wish I had taken it!
It may not be perfect, but it is still a beautiful image. Nothing to apologize for.
