A great set. Thanks for sharing.
Great set, unique perspective.
These guys can fly!!!
Are there any female flyers on board???
I love the second shot. Hard turn to port, exhaust flame, and heat distortion of the air. IMHO, the Blue Angels are in a class by themselves.

A big thank you to all the views and responses. Just as I enjoy looking at all the fine photographers’ work it is nice that people take the time to look and comment on things I post. Again thank you.
You captured some outstanding images.

Again, as in a previous post, I was lucky to have access to the rooftop of a condo building along Lake Shore Drive during the Chicago Air Show back in August. I was afforded unique views as the jets flew by; many times looking down on the jets.
Very nice indeed......the roof top access is a great idea and adds more depth to the pictures with the boats underneath and is just more interesting to me. A nice change of pace . Thank you.
I'm a retired Naval Aviator and fighter pilot, never a Blue Angel. These are awesome.
Back in 1967 or '68, when the Blues evaluated the F-4 Phantom for use, I was an instructor at VF-101 in Key West.
The Phantom was all muscle, but not a very forgiving airplane. They flew one fam flight to make their decision, and of course, they needed an instructor pilot in the back seat. I rode with Number Two. They took off individually and within ten minutes, they were in their famous Diamond Formation - 4' wingtip to fuselage separation. Then they started mild aerobatics. Amazing for pilots with no time in the airplane. As a result of that flight, they switched from the Grumman F-11 Tiger, to the Phantom.
Thank you,Blair and that is a neat story and experience Jeffers.
Really great shots, fantastic timing. Great work!
