Hunts could very well be the best photo dealer in the Western Hemisphere. They are a sponsor of my camera club and considered to be the cream of the crop in photography suppliers. Their workshops and field trips are also considered to be among the best anywhere. They are the gold standard in this field.

I buy exclusively through Hunt’s. They are a fabulous company to deal with and are committed to making us all better photographers. I simply can’t speak highly enough about them. No I’m not a paid spokesperson, just a fan!

Another strong recommendation for Hunt's! Melrose is a challenging drive through Boston traffic, but their Manchester, NH store is a bit farther but easier from central MA. I have bought all of my Nikon, Tamron, and Sigma gear there for the last decade and am very satisfied. They will price match reputable dealers.

They offer classes and photo tours. Just 2 weeks ago, i drove to Melrose during rush hour to attend "The Hunt's Show", including briefings by experts from Nikon, Tamron, Sigma and others. That was well worth the trip.

Very familiar. Very reputable. Have purchased 90% of my equipment at Hunts. Years ago I bought my Canon printer there with similar sale.

I love Hunt's Photo. I purchased a Nikon D850 from them and three weeks later found it $200.00 cheaper at B&H Photo. When I emailed Hunt's Photo they issued me a $200.00 credit the same day. I would highly recommend them. They offer classes and photo walks as well.

I have used Hunts many times for Nikon bodies and lenses. They are 100% reliable and easy to work with especially if you have a problem with a new camera or lens. Their shipping is fast and packaging is the best I have ever seen.

I double checked.... Pro-10 $379.99 before $200 rebate!

It is not advertised on their website, but rather their Nov. specials.

On this forum, there was an offer for a Canon Pro-10 printer for $379.99 before the Canon rebate of $200.

Hunt Photo.... Melrose, MA

Is this company legit? He says he is an authorized dealer, this is a new USA Canon with full warranty.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Yes "Hunt's" is legit and a great company. The Canon Pro-10 price of $379.99 (before rebate) is a sale price. If you also purchase the Canon paper for $50 you get a $250 rebate card making the effective printer cost $129.99. This is the best deal I've seen. I don't believe you'll find this sale price on their web site. You may have to call and ask for it. Hunt's has been supporting our camera club in New York's Capital District for years. Hunt's advertises in our monthly news letter and lists sales like this one. Many of our club members have purchased gear from Hunt's.

I've bought used lenses from Hunt and they were accurately described and at good prices. I bought a Canon Pro9000 Mark II at a Canon event at Penn photo for a great price before Penn closed. I've been disappointed with the printer for several reasons. Although the print quality is excellent, the printer almost never works. It keeps cycling like it is about to print, but nothing happens. I had a computer geek reload the drivers and it worked for a few days before the problem came back. In addition, Canon cartridges are way overpriced and I get a message that the cartridges are almost spent after very few prints. I don't have the patience right now to fix the problem. DrJ
