I am not sure, if your focus decission was the right one, Mike?
The boulders on the front of your image are in focus, but you have lost everything else in this inteesting shot.
You obviously had a tripod, so focusing a bit farther and getting the aperture down to about f 16, would probably do it?

You are so right! I attached the wrong file... dang small screen laptops!
I actually focus stacked the set. This one is a bit better!

the stacked focus is the way to go - for such a depth.
I am glad you chose the right technique.

Great shot!
You might also look into Hyper Focus! Google it. It’s also easy, just adjust your focus point according to your f-stop. Most websites have a table to look it up. Also there are phone apps you can download for same info. 👍

First one was in the stack, just selected it by mistake.
