The Google DeepDreams treatment was mild. Then color was modified by a preset in Topaz Studio 2 Adjust. I hope you enjoy...
BEAUTY HAVING DEEP DREAMS
Wonderful is an understatement. That one stopped me in my tracks.
This looks like a painting I would expect to see in an art gallery.
Very entertaining colors, which follow the basic principle of all arts: Unity with Variety. The shapes, however, do not seem to follow that principle, and sometimes clash with the title/idea, such as the neck scarf.. If the shapes were to show unity with variety, the piece would be even better artistically and in terms of the intent. Along the same lines, the realistic nose clashes with the treatment of the rest of face, without their being a reason I can understand to bring more attention to that feature by making it different.
I shouldn't like this. Too much color, way over processed, probably should be called Avant-garde. Anyway I keep coming back to your post, therefore looks like my subconscious wants me to shut up and enjoy this wonderful creative WORK of ART. My hat is off to you. ๐งข ๐
Thank you all, I wish I could take credit, but the credit goes to Mr. Google and His DeepDreams Generator. Warning, your mind's/eye will never be the same again. Topaz Studio2 aided in color adjust with a preset which after fiddling with it went with their preset. [I did not like Studio 1, the redo, Studio2 with the update, I do like very much... viva la Topaz]
https://deepdreamgenerator.com/I agree with Art Bob's assessment, especially the scarf... perhaps blurring it would help. Back in the 60s, I did oils, not good, but passable. I cheated and projected [Kodak Carrosell] image on canvas and started with putting paint where the projector told me. This one temps me to do the same using a modern projector ... as Cwilson341 suggested, it should be in oils.
"Stopped me in my tracks" as Curmudgeon said... yes, me too, after Mr. Google did his initial work. I took the original, just a snapshot [Sony HX50] of my friend ... one shot of many. She is a woman of 1001 faces but not like the silent screen actor Lon Chaney; he grotesque, she beautiful.
Yes, Jim-Pops, This Portrait is a bit addictive to my Mind's/eye, rather like being at a foreign restaurant and tasting a portion of food that is distant to my tongue's palette. While tasting strange, I go back for seconds.
