Nice job with that Web Site. I've been programming with Visual Basic since Version 3 - now using Visual Studio 2019 - Community Version. I haven't done any Web based apps, just desktop applications. I've built a desktop application similar to yours. I organize my photos by year. Finding something is quicker with your strategy (in explorer), but once in my database, I have a similar search scheme as your web site.
My app can organize photo's into albums and has a slide show option.
I like the slider on the images to see the image in B/W or Color. That's really neat. Do you have those photos stored as separate B/W and Color files or doing the transition thru code on the fly (or using two images - my guess?)
I'm new to this forum, and just bought my first DSLR back in March. With that I've modified my desktop application to show a lot of the metadata written to the file by the Camera. Interesting see what zoom levels i'm using - for a future Prime Lens purchase.
