I posted this last night but for those who missed it I'm reposting what I posted last night. Thanks to all those who have been concerned about my absence..hopefully Ill be back to the forum soon.
As many of you know we lost our Nana on 9/11...she was 91 years old. I am in the midst of burying her on the church property that she was a member of. Here in Alaska we can make our loved ones coffin...and dig the grave..and even transport the body...so it is a family affair. The family being directly involved in a last act of love for our dear nana..she was 91 years old. She died at peace and without un needed drugs clouding her mind, she was not starved or dehydrated when she died...we fought to be able to allow her to pass from this world in Gods own time even though the Doctors wanted us to rush her along. I wont go into the nightmarish problems we had with the medical community. I could write a book on that. Our Nana will be buried tuesday,layed into the earth by the hands of her sons and grandsons...dressed by her daughters and grandaughters, lovingly cared for even in her death. A death she was not afraid of. May she rest in the arms of her Lord. May her soul be blessed and may all of us be comforted by the same merciful God in heaven.

Another good pick..... hard to tell when susnset is in Ireland! No, not a black and white nor digitally altered shot but still incredibly beautiful. Was nice to see the rain and all it helps grow....... Sunset at the Paralympics, overcast all day and only greys and grays in the sky until the penultimate hour..... I am sure the members of the flat earth society, birthers and deniers of global warming will be convinced that last weeks shot of brown, brown Greenland was photoshopped...It was not.
