Only 2 buildings remain from the thriving community of Galilee, Saskatchewan: a general store and one house. At it's peak in the mid 1920s, the town boasted a number of stores and residences, an elevator, a school, a church, a blacksmith shop, and a post office. People began moving away in 1938, and when the school closed in 1956, the town quickly became deserted.
Both shots taken with a Canon 6D. Lens: 24-105 f/4L; both @24mm. Raw to jpeg conversion with Skylum Aurora, 2018.
The pic of the house is not very good. There was a steep ditch running in the front of the house and trees growing very close to the house with poor views, so the pic I obtained was from the only decent angle available.
Thanks for looking.
