Doesn't look like Main Photography Discussion material, to me.

Oops. Sorry. I thought it would be ok since it's been a topic of substantial discussion here for at least the last three days.

Meaning no offense but are you the Main Photography Admin here? Apparently the person is new with only 3 posts. Is that all you do is harass new people for putting their post in the wrong area? Perhaps if you came across with something like: Hey I see you are new. In the future would you mind posting in the correct area for that type of post.

Maybe you can see or try to comprehend that not all of us are Forum Nazis who try to regulate every little thing that comes our way. Give the new people a break and perhaps they won't have a feeling of Screw the UHH and never come back.

Even if you ARE the Admin for this section certainly you can show a little manners.

I disagree, if you post process on a Mac it most certainly Main Photography Discussion material. My Mac is important to my photography hobby. To state this differently, a computer is critical to Digital Photography.

I saw it as a helpful reminder to a new member, I don't see anything improper or impolite about it. The only form of Nazi style harassment I saw came from you.

Post processing is just one of the activities relating to photography that involves my computer. For example, if there is an update to my camera's software, I use my computer to download the update, save it to an SD card, and update my camera from the SD card. According to Nikon, this is the procedure.

So let's just agree to disagree.

Then we will just have to disagree. No problem to me if you cannot agree that it might have been said with a bit more finesse.

It belongs here. That people are responding to it and have responded in quantity to previous OS discussions here prove it. If Canon or Nikon came out with a new lens that had flaws, would it not belong here? My Mac is as much a photo tool as my camera.

I really put little stock in what most "pundits" claim... in the late 70's I was an auto mechanic working at a Ford dealer... when Ford redesigned their Bronco and released the new big Bronco, it was not great... lots of problems, the 4 wheel drive magazines all stated it was a bad design and have problems, like very steering held together with string, the following month it was made 4 wheel drive of the year.... the difference... 30 days and a ton of Ford ads in the magazine ;) I cancelled my magazine subscription that month ;)

Please don't get me wrong. I'm not telling you were to post. Personally, I would have posted it in Links...,
because to get to the actual story or whatever, you need to use the supplied Link.
I'm just posting my opinion based on the available information; I'm not the Link Nazi as some members have erroneously accused.
I don't follow links that I don't know where they came from or where they will take me, especially from a poster with absolutely no history, so I don't know what was on the other end of the Link. It's not that I don't trust you, well, yes it is, but don't take it personally, I don't trust anyone I don't know on the Internet.
If you feel I've disrespected you in any way, that was not my intention and I sincerely apologize.
For those of you who stuck up for me, thank you, I truly appreciate your open mindedness.
For those who bad mouthed me, criticized me or were simply rude, KMA...

Hypocritically rude, "but don't take it personally."
