What birds do you have close to Lanexa?
Vic, We have about the usual collection of yard birds such as cardinals, wrens, bluebirds, blue jays, chickadees, blackbirds, woodpeckers, sparrows, flycatchers, and finches, and such, as well as ospreys in the warmer months, a few eagles year-round, green and great blue herons, a few great egrets every once in a while, barred owls, hawks, kingfishers, gulls, cormorants, geese, and ducks--with wood ducks nesting in our nests' boxes each year and Baltimore orioles spending several months with us until last season. We are located on the Chickahominy River which is a tributary of the James River and the Chickahominy resembles the upper reaches of your Saint Johns River, except we have no Spanish moss. Take care!
