My first camera was the Canon AE 1, that was excellent, then I had a Rebel I didn't like much. Fuji and others. Now I use my Nikon D750, I am in love with this camera, especially its performance in low light and ISO.

I have and still own various cameras. I use different cameras for different things. But I have a favorite. One that is my go to carry it with me everyday. I like the results I get from it SOOC, I love the color, I like the way it works, and I like the way it feels and handles. And it has one hot pixel. Arrrrrgggggg. 😡 But it is still my favorite camera.

So this post is not about what camera is best or most expensive or mine is better than yours, or DSLR vs Mirrorless, or brand loyalty. It's about what camera is your favorite camera, and lens, and why.

Mine is my Olympus OM-D EM5 Mii + 14-45 Panasonic Lens.

What is yours?
I have and still own various cameras. I use differ... (show quote)

D3400 with 28-75 f2.8, D90 with 17-50 f2.8 and D50 with 18-200 f3.5-6.3. In that order. Each one has its own unique abilities, IQ and uses. I use all three depending on the particular occasion and my shooting mood. Would not want to give up any of the three and would replace any of them with the same camera if lost or broken, even the D50.

I love my Sony a6300 with the 18-135 lens. It's a very portable and versatile combination with excellent IQ. This combination (plus a few more lenses) replaced my Nikon D5100 gear. I've used Nikon for a very long time and very happy with the switch to the mirror-less Sony.

fav pocket cam - gr III
walk around light one - g80 with 14mm f2.5, 15mm f1.7, 12-60mm and nikkor 200m f4 with f/m43 adaptor
for more "serious" things - nikon df with one tamron 20-70 f2.8 g2 or these three : 20mm f1.8g, voight 40mm f2 or 50mm f1.8g, and afd 180mm f2.8
on vacations i'd take g80 + gr
impossible to have just one fav for all times... if i had to choose only one cam one lens i'd be df + tamron 20-70 f2.8 g2..
(i still favor dlrs more than mirrorless stuff, i don't like EVF's... still waiting 'em to be on par with dlr's ones in darkness)

Mine is whatever I have that day. It could be Canon’s AE-1, Mamiya C330 TKR, Fuji xe1, Nikon D4 or just my IPhone!

Emotionally, my 1971 Nikon F. For most outings my Arca Swiss 4x5.

I got a Nikon F back in 1972 and used it for many years until I went digital about 15 years ago. It was a work horse that was simple in design, rugged and did a great job.

I guess i'm an old dog. My favorite camera is a Norita Graflex 120-220 film camera. Love the square format. Used to make very large sized prints. Had 4 lenses + a 60mm leaf shutter lens, that gave me a 500th of second flash sync. 4 bodies at the time.

I think my favorite was the original Nikon F that I bought in Tokyo in 1964 while I was in the service. Still have it but don't use it because the shutter speed is off (weak springs). Bought the camera w/50mm lens, a 35mm, a 105mm, and a 200mm and a leather-covered hard case, all for under $450. Served me well until I finally converted to digital.
