Thank you Deanie1113 for asking the question I like this answer from Topaz: "If you own our Classic Plug-in DeNoise or our Studio Pro Adjustment AI Clear, we have given you access to DeNoise AI. All that you have to do is download and install DeNoise AI, login, and it's all yours! "

Fantastic -- thank you!

Wow, and everybody should do what you do. So full of yourself as always. People shoot different things and have different experiences and not everybody can switch cameras at will. Shoot what you shoot and if you have helpful advice, advise. Just being critical to be critical serves nothing but your overinflated ego.

As you are not doing?

And who is pointing the specific finger here? I try not to make posts personal, but sure they may apply to someone.

Fine everyone should do as they like but some people are just lazy and seem to need a crutch. My issue is with those who blame their tools. This is why most "old" timer photographers point to the skill needed to shoot Kodachrome 25 Slide film. It was very exacting film. Personally I was never very good with it in any consistent way.

Wow, there you go again. So people shooting high ISO need a crutch? I don’t see anybody blaming their tools. I see people that are happy that we have such great tools today. Like cameras that can shoot high ISO. And Topaz Denoise.

I purchased Topaz AI Clear several months ago for around $60. It does a fantastic job with my noisy images. But I am a bit confused, because my understanding is that there is another program now that includes sharpening and cleaning up noise. Am I right? Not sure what it is called, but do I need this if I am happy with AI Clear? Is AI Clear outdated and the new program significantly better? Thank you.

This started out as a software/vendor question. And somehow disintegrated into 'if you have noise, you are doing something wrong' discussion. Didn't see that coming.
