I messed up removing the stars, but it didn't look too bad. I'll give it another whirl tho. I also captured The Wizard in Ha,OIII and SII. I'll have to play with it this week.
PS I got my RASA back, collimated and working great.
Brian , that's pretty nice without the stars. If these hurricanes stop coming through "I may be able to get my guiding going ". I really enjoy your selection of images , images that you don't usually see . I'm glad you got your Celestron scope all squared away , you don't want to know what I've had to deal with, I fixed the flexure problem . We've got fall targets coming around and I'm trying my best to get my Po'mans rig working better since adding the lightest compact80mm f5 refractor to the rings . Fall has been staying away and finally we're getting cooler nights here in the Carolinas "goodbye boil" it's lasted too long this year. I'm waiting for you too add them stars and make it come to life Brian.
With stars. Couldn't get the color to match, but I think it'll do.
So this was shot with 11" RASA with ASI1600M camera in Ha and OIII. Bicolor processed. 250x40second lights of each filter. Gain 250, Offset 50.
Thanks Ronnie. We have had cloudless skies, but seeing was poor, full moon didn't help either.
Hopefully you guys will get a break from those ugly skies and have a good winter.
Oh and stupid me, I setup and never did a polar alignment...didn’t sink in for a couple of nights, but I I didn’t want to mess up the 2 nights I had already. One of these days I have to learn to use SGP.

I don't see where you "messed up", just a few left over stars in the download.
Looks good! How many hours of processing did it take?
I did 250 of each filter of 40 seconds. I only did Ha And OIII, then blended them as R: Ha, G: .7*Ha + .3* OIII and B: OIII. The RASA is great for doing NB. I shot this over 3 nights.
The OIII was pretty weak, but I think that was due to the poor seeing and full moon.
Same here , clear and a bright phase everytime . Looks like a portrait now that you put in the depth perspective {Its alive} . Clear skies my friend
Thanks Marc. I was a little disappointed in my OIII, it was pretty weak. I suspect from the poor seeing/full moon.
