I was watching a video about Topaz software & wanted to ask the question of how many people use Topaz as a plugin with LR ?

I am preparing to compare Topaz Gigapixel AI with PS to generate a 30x40 inch print from a D500 file. Will post results in a few weeks

I have a few of the Topaz software, but not Gigapixel. The others, including Studio 2, are used either as stand alone or as plug in to PSCC in my workflow. I will say that the ones I use (Sharpen, Denoise, Adjust and JPEG to RAW, really JPEG to TIFF) have their place and use. Sometimes they work superbly and other times I may use a combo of plug ins and PSCC to get the desired result. If the second happens, I may use a Topaz product at a lower adjustment level and then something else to finish it off, or vice versa.

The other main plug in suite I use is DXO Labs which includes the Nik software.

I have just started using DeNoise and Sharpen as LR plugins, and they are generally satisfactory. I will use one or the other after my cropping and color correction, depending on what the image needs. There are some nuances to learn. For example, Sharpen can add a ton of noise to the sharpened image, which defeats the purpose. So, i’m still on the learning curve, but overall i would say they are useful tools.

I use Topaz products and Studio very often. I have a 15% discount code, pm me if interested.
There are many tutorials on the internet with instructions and tips on how to use them. I believe you can download a trial version.
The AI programs are awesome, AI Sharpen, Denoise, Adjust work well.

I use Topaz AI Sharpen and AI DeNoise with PS. Works well. You can try for 30 days prior to purchasing. Full copies.

I used some of the plugins with LR and currently use Studio 2 with Capture One. Topaz is good.

Topaz Denoise AI is incredible!..I use it on most all of my images in Photoshop as a starting point for processing to give me a clean palette processing and editing to the largest sizes I intend to print, from 12.5" x 18.5" at native resolution on my photos from my Nikon D500, and being able to expand many up to 20x30" ..All at 300 DPI, as this Topaz APP enhances sharpening as well.. I believe it's is the BEST anti-noise APP available at this time!
