You have captured the fall tundra colors nicely. I have to agree. While we don’t have the maples and oaks that color up red in the “Lower 48,” we do have the tundra and mountain sides that are beautiful in the fall. Thanks for sharing.

Although your images are very nice and colorful, I'm just not seeing the types of colors from years past from around the nation.

It’s a whole different kind of fall colors display here in Alaska.
Fall colors usually start in late August and continue through September, usually peaking (trees) around mid-September. The mountain sides and tundra keeps the colors a bit longer.
