The original Washington Senators were one of the first 8 baseball teams in MLB. They moved to Minnesota, I believe in 1961 and became the Twins. An expansion team came to Washington several years later and was also named the Senators, but left in 1971 and migrated to Texas and became the Rangers. The Montreal Expos left Canada and became the Nationals, although early Senators were often termed the NATS, short for SeNATors. GOOOOOO Nats!!!

Being a Yankees fan, I have a bit of disappointment. I wanted that world series.

Yep, I wanted the Yankees vs Dodgers World Series too. Going back to the good old days rivalry.

Yeah, the 1988 World Series was more than memorable to me. I was there, when Gibby hit his home run. Also, when Sandy pitched his perfect game. Indelible memories in my life.

Did you see the final results of the Giants game? They lost by 21 points! Houston beat Tampa and is going to beat the Yankees... Game 1 Verlander He will beat the Yankees badly.

Verlander will not beat the Yankees in Game 1, since he is scheduled to start Game 2. Zack Greinke is slated to start Game 1 in Houston tomorrow night.

Super Bowl XLVI. I may be wrong about the Pats being undefeated.

The NY Giants beat the Patriots twice in the Super Bowl. The first one was Super Bowl XLII on February 3, 2008. The Patriots went 16-0 in the regular season, and were 18-0 when the faced the Giants in the Super Bowl. The Giants won by a score of 17-14. Eli Manning was the MVP of Super Bowl XLII.

The Giants beat the Patriots again in Super Bowl XLVI February 5, 2012 by a score of 21-17. Eli Manning was the MVP of the Super Bowl XLVII also.

Slight correction, the Houston Astros won 107 regular season games, giving them the best record in MLB. Go Astros!!!
