I enjoy these. I like your use of lighting and angle.

That last one, of the rain outside The Fiddlers Arms, really worked for me.

I like the shots very much. And such great memories for you and your family.

The warm tones of the lights and red umbrellas counteracts the dark grey of the skies. These are nice.

I've hesitated to post these shots since I'm still feeling my way around the new Z6 (bought four days before our trip!), especially with low light situations. But they have been tweaked a bit to bring out the color and the reflections on the rainy pavements and even though they're technically not the greatest I rather like the overall effect.

I don't see a thing wrong technically, Sue, and I like the effect. The images are beautiful. You did a splendid job capturing the mood of a rainy evening.

Looks like you don't have much farther to go to master your Z6...excellent photo's, I can almost smell the sauce from "Made In Italy Pizzeria".

Great set!! How are you liking the Z6?

Thank you!

After all the anguish and sitting on the fence (Husband ended up pushing me off of it! ) I'm very happy with it. Using the FTZ adapter allows me to use my Tamron lenses (the 35-150 f/2.8-4 was on it for most of this trip) and I love the fact that there is in-camera stabilization. I'm currently using the auto ISO set to a max of 2,000 which is great for most shots but should probably have been higher with these ones. This is my third camera in almost four years but I think I'll be holding on to this one for quite a while!

Thank you! Pizza at "Made In Italy" has become a traditional meal for our first evening in Edinburgh - it's wood fired and delicious!

I don't see a thing wrong technically, Sue, and I ... (show quote)

Thank you - my problem is that the noise level is higher than I'd like which is something that needs to be worked on.

Nothing wrong with those beautiful images. Rainy days as you have seen pose a challenge when shooting with gear that is not water proof. I never had a problem with that because I use a Zip Lock to cover the camera and lens.
Colors tend to be saturated and middle tonalities underexpose just a bit but nothing that could not be fixed with a good editor. I like them all and I think you did a great job with your new camera.
