I read a headline about a new Nikon f/0.95 lens. If I recall correctly, it was 58mm.
This is now your second post about a lens no one can afford. Want to make it three?
Are you going to have this lens in your store?
I think Nikon is shooting themselves in the foot. Instead of coming out with a new Z DX camera and an ultra expensive 58mm fast lens at a phenomenal price, they would have done better to issue firmware for the existing Z6 and Z7 that fixes issues with focusing speed, wake up time.

Maybe.
And I wouldn't sell it to him either!

That firmware update came out in June. V2.01

Thanks! I am just wonder if you think having the lens in your store is good for your business somehow.

Actually I don't see how I could stock such a limited demand beast in my little store. I would be glad to special order one for a customer, but it would not be a stock inventory item for me.
F1.4,1.8,2.8 but 0.95 how much would I really used it?
That lens would make my images priceless,.....out of my reach anyway.
I'll settle for mediocre I guess.

I really do not see the point in a 1:0.95 when ISOs are in the 10Ks. Would make sense for film at ASA 64 to 400. I get by fine with f/1.4 and f/2.8 lenses.

For this lens? You can buy it, you don't need to use it.
If there is something I never accepted from Leica it was their outrageous prices. I have always sustained that I can do with a Nikon lens what can be done with a similar lens from Leica. Now, before someone start the flame, I do not print murals. If the big difference is seen when printing a mural I do not fall into that category. I have seen many images from different Leica lenses and I have never been able to understand what is meant by "the Leica look."
If you are shooting a black cat in a carbon mine I guess that 50mm f0.95 is the lens to use. In my case my old, single coated 50mm f1.4 S from the early 70's is all I will ever need. In my case, I am very satisfied with the quality of images I get from it.
It is not easy for me to understand going to a bank first before buying a lens.

If you buy it, do they give you a Z body for free?
