I didn't miss my post to you being deleted because it wasn't respectful enough. I don't suppose you know anything about that?

Well, you may be right on one count, I never picked cabbage for a living, farmboy.

Probably never worked a day in your life. What is wrong with being a farm boy, or picking cabbage other than it is an honest job which you seem to despise?

Nope, one of mine was deleted also. Thom, you should know me well enough by now to realize I don't run to admin or anyone else with my petty grievances, I figure that if you are to sensitive to take it, don't dish it out.
I am pretty disgusted with all this "I told admin" crap. If all this bothers those sissy's they should just leave so they are not constantly offended.
I haven't been as active on the Hog lately as I am still cleaning up from a tornado in April. Be safe.

As a 73 yr old ex-grunt, I assure you that those WERE NOT glory days.

I spent 13 months just a few clicks from the DMZ. We were engaged almost every day and we never heard movie music warning us of an attack or ambush. I guess the glory days in the movies were not the days in combat.

If a person thinks those combat days were glory days, he should rethink his vocabulary.

Frank has been watching too many movies. He may not even know how we were spat on when we came back to the world. A friend of mine arrived in Chiraq, walked into the terminal and had some hippie girl rub a handful of dog poop in his chest. Yes those were the “glory days.” Frank has been watching too many movies. He obviously doesn’t know what in the hell he is talking about. He must be excused though because he obviously just has diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of the brain.

I'll second that, my senior trip was Pliku and later Chu Lai. No glory just sleepless nights and unpleasant dreams.

Oh, did he have bone spurs as well? It must be an epidemic in the States if that is the case. Pity.

He had a legitimate student deferment. He was a Rhodes scholar.

Emotions ran very high at that time. I believe the emotions were justified. Many of the actions definitely were not. Many thought of soldiers the way some right to lifers think of anyone involved in abortion in any way. Both were/are wrong, in my opinion.

Good for him. I had dealt with him and his team of secret service, back in the 90ties. I have been involved in protecting many international VIPs (George Bush senior, Dali Lama, Pope, Queen Elizabeth, Thatcher, Aga Khan, John Major, George Tenet, Prime Ministers, Princesses, Princes, Foreign Ministers, etc. Bill Clinton had more charisma, of them all.

To be very honest, I would have called in sick, if trump was coming to British Columbia Canada, back then. He turns my stomach, upside down.

What do you want to know? BTW, you think you are a lesser human? Why would that be? Do you work for McDonald's, asking people if they wanted fries with that burger? At least you held a job. Good show.

So you badmouth the President because he didn’t go and you badmouth me because my country called and I went. That makes no sense!
