I've been trying for several days to find some decent fall foliage, but my timing has been off ... that is until yesterday. I started the day with a drive over the Kancamagus Highway out of Lincoln, NH (locals call it the Kanc) & was treated to some wonderful color. I found that the color was great at one altitude, but as I drove up the mountain, it became almost drab. But when I descended down the other side, the colors were again spectacular. I then continued my journey North on Rt 302 up through Crawford Notch & past Mt. Washington, then through Bath, NH before heading home (VT).
Following are a few of the shots I took along the way. I hope you enjoy them.

Beautiful color, thanks for sharing it. This year Tennessee has been too dry so will enjoy pictures posted here.
