My wife and I went for a drive in Alabama today and found Stone Hinge!
Where in Alabama is this StoneHenge replica?

Did you mean Alabama has a fiberglass Stonehenge?
This is on the property of Barber Marine. near Elberta, Al. There are dinosaurs, fountains, spiders, statues and other things and it is free to view and take pictures of.

My ex-husband and I were at Ft Rucker during the late 70's. We bought a motorcycle while we were there an did a little traveling but never went to that part of the state. Eufaula was my favorite especially during the spring.
Thanks for sharing something I missed out on.

The actual name of this is Bamahenge which is a takeoff of Stone Henge. This is as close as I will ever get to the real thing.

It is actually "closer" than you will ever get to the real thing. Stone Henge is now securely fenced off at some distance from the stones, so getting a shot like this is out of the question. I passed on a visit when I was in the area this Spring as there are other sites more worthy of one's attention.
Meanwhile it looks like you found something interesting in your own back yard - good for you!

Yep, they're protecting Stonehenge from the Clark Griswold.
