Images taken at 8:10 pm, temperature about 40 Deg, the wind was fierce. Nikon D850 with Sigma 24 mm f/1.4 ART lens. We used a Profoto studio strobe on low power to illuminate the foreground and the hills across the lake. Both of us were giggling hysterically at each shot.
Image exposure worked over in Lightroom to highlight the Milky Way between the clouds and lighten the rocks.
The final image was run through Topaz DeNoise AI, an incredibly versatile tool for post-processing. The noise in #2, the untouched SOOC was big enough to fall off the screen and break your foot.
IMHO, you did a nice job in PP ... like that image a lot. Thanks for sharing
Excellent post production, not just the work but your vision to how you wanted the final picture. I can't stress enough how much I like what you did and the appreciation in your efforts.๐
To add to my previous comment.
This is an EXTRAORDINARY photograph. A once in a lifetime shot that took outstanding Post Production showing natures rare occurrences.
This should be on front page of National Geographic.
Got to agree, itโs particularly well done.
