FC is located about 45 miles south of Vernal, Utah is approximately 10 acres in size and is administered by the BLM. See Wikipedia for more information and history on FC...The rocks are composed of quartzose sandstone and were deposited during the Eocene Epoch...we all remember those days, right!! These photos were taken late afternoon after a passing storm to the west. The stand-alone "whodo's" in the photo are 6-8 feet tall! My camera battery died right at sunset or I would have stayed longer.
