Look inviting enough for a swim.
Thanks, there is a beach for swimming.
Sooprized myself to find me
shooting sky-and-cloud stuff.
But, in a couple of instances
it just spoke to me, so .....
Another from the "sooprized myself" drawer.
I scroll right past everybody else's "beautiful
blossoms macro" images. Not any negative
criticism on my part. I simply don't relate to
"pretty pitchurs". I like this one cuz it has an
immediacy to a mute, temporary, living thing
but it's not a glamorizing of "blazing beauty".
Almost makes me feel like I'm a bee !
And just to admit I can occasionally seccumb
to that which I tend to shun, the 2nd image
is my "confession". Acoarst, it's still "ME", as
in NO BOKEH !!!! Kinda reminds me of Asian
scroll paintings. I went to art school. We had
to study Art History. What can I say ..... Well,
I could say, "I was kinda curious how much
detail I might get from a widely despised 10X
all-in-one zoom handheld at its maximum FL,
and somehow, stuff embedded in my head
way back in Art History class just sneck out !"
Which sounds quite honest, to me anywho.
Speaking of honest, feel free to reply that my
"test shot" fails to test for those soft corners
endemic to 10X zooms ;-)

Tell your granddaughter she did a great job, Larry.
Thanks for hosting, yet again, and for getting us started.
I took a bunch of images at the local Apple Harvest Festival
today, but I'm not sure when I'll get a chance to edit them,
so, in the mean time, here's one I took while looking for
abandoned barns...

Sunflower heads drying on the planting table, and a lovely, destructive visitor.

That looks like a Luna Moth catapiggle.
If so, I hope you got to see the adult !
I create the altar centerpieces for my church. Today was World Communion Sunday, hence the bread & grapes.

No need for paint when rust can look this good
Good look'n rust, Simon๐๐
Easy "Pumpkin" centerpieces: 16" square of orange fabric. Place a roll of Toilet paper in center. Fold up the sides & poke excess into the TP Tube. Cover hole with some sprigs of leaves. Happy Fall ya'all!!
