The Huntington Beach CA, Great Pacific Airshow still has one more day (Sunday October 6th) to view. It was pretty spectacular even on the practice day of Friday. My attempt was to photograph the event in a non-typical way.......to try and make it interesting and different. These photos look best in download mode.
Fantastic series, couldn't be any better, I love it.

Thanks a ton Dodie. #2 is very unusual.......I’ve never seen anything quite like it.

Excellent work, Brent!
I appreciate your approval and positive comment Mike.
You did a great job at making these images interesting and different. I also like your #2 and #8 images. The #2 image is fanciful but the #8 image might have been missed by some people. That image is one not two planes and that tube between the double fuselages, I believe, is a jet engine. Last year I saw what looked like a propeller driven plane shoot 20K feet straight up in just a few seconds and the prop engine sounded like a jet. I believe this is the one.
I kept my eye on the day moon in #6, but didn't find an opportunity to take advantage of it. Good job.
Nice captures and playful editing.

I'd suggest you accomplished your goal ... of doing it differently. And IMHO, you did an excellent job ... great series. Thanks for sharing.
