We spent a couple of days in the Park last week and tried to take mostly "non-iconic" photos...although they should all be iconic as gorgeous as this Park is. We would enter the Park from the west side, go up and over the 12,000' summit traveling down to Estes Park and then return via the Old Fall River (gravel/dirt) Road. May have to do another post showing more examples of this Park.

Beautiful images jederick.

What an incredible amount of territory to cover in a few short days. Unspoiled and wonderful. You are lucky to be able to enjoy such a privilege . I wish I could still wander the hills like that but that ship has sailed ,but I get to enjoy your adventures and that's just fine with me now.
Thanks for sharing your special trip.

Thanks for sharing! We get to these wonderful places and try so hard to capture the grandeur with our cameras. You win some, you lose some. Personally, I have a hard time just capturing long distance scenery by itself, and prefer shots that include foreground as well, as you have done in a few of these. And, as one other poster has mentioned, the last shot of the trees is one of my favorites
