This is one of the preserved Japanese Beetles that I staged for a focus stacking session this afternoon. It is another in the series of using pastel gradient paper as a background.
I staged this session with my go-to setup of reversed lenses, extension tubes and the ping-pong ball as a light diffuser with multiple directional lighting.
