Wait, I'm back already. I know something broken and rusted - me. Rusty joints, a little warped, crazy but still kicking. I am however, not yet abandoned. I promise to return w rustier rust.
Here's a few to get started with from the most artistically displayed roadside farmers stand I've ever seen....
Nicely done, Vicki...I like this series.
Reminds me of a fruit stand we always stop at on the way to the Outer Banks...I think the name is Morris Farm Market, but they have dozens and dozens of old tractors lining the highway before you get there...
Really sad one here, not only was the farm abandoned but the owner also and died alone in his 90's. I used to see him outside in the summer. The place was then taken over by a distant relative and all was taken down. Notice the house. The porch is in the back instead of in the front as back then the roads were not paved and dust would blow around, so many many farm houses are set up as such except for the big guys whose houses are set up a quarter mile off of the roads
Pg 2 - That is sad, Jim, but you've done a great job of remembering it for everyone.
I went back to that abandoned school bus today, and was surprised to see that it's even in much, much worse shape than it was before, and it was joined by a small car. It looks like the local rescue crews use these for training purposes. Tim
