Nice set, looks like you are setting low and in good position, nice and sharp. Suggestion for next time. Action shots you want to separate the subject from the background. The backgrounds here are pretty cluttered. Try opening up the F Stop some. I normally set between the barrel and timer so I can shoot barrels 1 & 2, in a low profile hunting stool.
Wow, great action shots. Color and sharpness (for my eye) are fantastic.
Beautifully crisp shots. That's a really nice series.
As always, fantastic, nice photographs.
Great clarity in the shots!
#4 & #5 are my favorites.......wonderful action , colors , and detail in them and the Horse & Rider are nicely paired. Thanks again.
Those are great action shots with great detail.
Wonderful action sequence and shots - #2 and #5 stand out for me...

Way good! I wonder how those folks with the phone cams did?
Excellent shots. Like an earlier poster, I would suggest shooting with a shallower depth-of-field to help the horse and rider separate out from the background. What also makes these shots neat is that the horse and rider are showing good form. Rider is sitting deep in the saddle, not leaning. And horse is bending nicely, not throwing his back end to the outside as he turns the barrel. It's always aggravating when a photo in, for example, barrels or cutting, looks all crisp and sharp and exciting to someone who doesn't know much about the sport, but a cutter or barrel racer looks at it and thinks OMG, that horse is so out of position, etc.
The last one is a winner for sure!
