This was taken during the early hours of our unwelcome October 2011 snowstorm. Twelve inches fell on these poor little geranium buds. They didn't make it. :cry:

:thumbup: cute idea. Like the interactions. Here's the coldest day of my life. Got stuck on a neighboring iceberg JUST to shoot this sot. Took me 8 hours to get back to land and a LOT OF LUCK> Dumb DUMB move on my behalf.

These are all great photos... and the thread has only been up for 24 hours...and we have 6pages of posts. This is one of the reasons I ask for only one photo per person per weekly theme. But with anything thats just getting started, anything is allowable. Starting next Friday, I'll try to "enforce" (such an ugly word) the rules. The Purpose of this thread is to inspire people to get out and take pictures. Not necessarily dig out ones from the past. I will admit thats what I did to get this started. :oops: And by asking for only ONE shot per theme, I hope it will inspire you to think about the theme, you composition, etc and produce the best photo you can. We will carry on with this for as long as there is interest... so every Friday, watch for a new thread with the new theme... Happy Shooting everyone and thank each of you for participating... I love all the photos........
