Thank you for this rather obvious statement. One has to wonder about the motivation and ideas for the comments. Also, the general disrespectful manner of the comments. Mostly I do not respond because I have been cautioned again and again that 'feeding the trolls' gets myself and others no where but down a rabbit hole of absurd time wasting.

I don't view your comments as supporting my ideas or my work, please understand that. What your statements are showing is that some of the viewers do get tired of the commentary of defamatory and unhelpful postings.

Criticism is best when it appears to be informed and is offered with a certain sense that the comment comes from some bases of engaged position of ideas, that are not just mere opinion. In my experience useful criticism is that which issues from a statement or statements that are informed, and what follows may represent then a derived opinion. I also do not look for 'atta-boy' statements.

All that said, I suppose we will now return to the limited few who get here just to 'hear' their own voice.

This is what is so extremely incorrect with what you have proposed here, namely:

Sex between men as a violation of standing laws has been struck down by Federal Courts (can I? Do I dare? Why not! Just like Jim Crow Laws).

Images of sexual activities between adolescent, assuming your term 'folks' implies adults is clearly a violation of laws on county, state and federal agreement, while you rather prurient statement about Donkeys is covered under laws concerning bestiality, and is also covered under all the same violation of laws.

Further, the rules/laws that web masters operate under would require the immediate removal of such items with a report to federal law enforcement and the users internet provider.

This leaves us with what exactly are you trying to say. The result is the shallow fanning of a fire you are attempting to ignite. My conclusion is that you are acting out, in a troll like manner, and are to be no longer to be considered part of a dialogue. Troll on, I will place you in the category of people who should never be responded to.

Responding to your assertions, tasteful is part of 'taste' that went out after WW I with Dada, Surrealism, Ready Mades and the like, there is no 'taste' in art anymore. As to 'smut' that devil M. Duchamp torpedoed it as well with the submission of a urinal signed R. Mutt (it's complex and this is not an art history course, look it up if you like). Yes we still have the hold over phrase 'artistic' but that 'taste' thing, be it 'good' or 'bad' is out, at least in the real of art and that is what I and my work operates in. Tis is not mere opinion.

Tim, perhaps your "true art" would be more appreciated on an "art forum" as opposed to trying to educate "us prudes" on the photography forum.

It does, as you say, come down to taste, and what you are hearing is that many of us find many of your images to be "in poor taste." There are many different styles of nude images posted on this forum, and it would not be difficult to give a rundown of examples that are considered suitable and unsuitable.

Perhaps it is not a matter of policing the forum for acceptable or unacceptable. It is probably better to use the term "appreciated" in judging suitability.

What I find most puzzling is your obstinacy to educate us "voyeurs of beauty" to become "admirers of porn/smut." OK, those are harsh descriptors, but surely you get the gist. We are not studying for an MFA degree in a study program taught by Prof Timmers.

I think you have an idea of what is appreciated here and what is not. Show us your ability to use discretion in what you post.
